LiquiBand LiquiSeal
LiquiBand LiquiSeal is a sterile topical cyanoacrylate protective microbial barrier film to be applied after primary skin closure (i.e. on top of sutures or staples). LiquiBand LiquiSealcontains an Octyl-Blend monomer blend technology (70% 2 octyl-cyanoacrylate and 30% n-buty cyanoacrylate) which forms a bacterial barrier.
LiquiBand LiquiSealpolymerises on contact with skin/moisture to form a flexible, microbial barrier and waterproof, protective dressing. LiquiBand LiquiSeal will slough off naturally after 7-10 days, during re-epithelialisation of the skin.
