Foam

Foam Border - AMS Foam Border has a three layer construction. The dressing is composed of a soft, conformable micro porous polyurethane foam pad surrounded by an acrylic adhesive border with a highly breathable pink flexible membrane backing.

Foam Non Adhesive - AMS Foam Non Adhesive has a two layer construction composed of a soft, conformable microporous polyurethane foam wound contact layer with a highly breathable pink polyurethane film backing.

Composition - AMS Foam dressings are composed of polyurethane foam with a polyurethane film or a membrane backing. The adhesive used within AMS Foam Border is acrylic adhesive. AMS Foam dressings and product packaging are certified as latex free and contain no animal derived materials.

Performance

The key performance parameter for foam dressings is the ability to absorb high levels of exudate whilst also maintaining a moist wound environment.
